A nicely done comparison of some of today's most popular small 9mms by the Firearm Patriot. The Ruger LC9 is a great pistol...however from my experience in firearms instruction, it is a pistol that is best for experienced shooters. If a new shooter buys this gun, especially ladies, the light weight of the gun and the shorter grip length expose "limp wristing" issues. If you "limp wrist" a gun, it will most always cause a failure to feed. I would NOT recommend a sub-compact pistol to any new shooter!Quote:

Excellent points. Every time I've worked with a newbie they are attracted to the ultra small, ultra light handguns because they judge them simply by size and weight.
