    Talking Granny's Brag Time...

Okay guys, just humor me, please. I have to brag a tiny bit on my two grand-kids. They spent Sunday afternoon at my house and some of that time was with their dad in the backyard shooting cans with their BB guns. Unfortunately the 6 yr old grand daughter got bored fairly quickly after putting her share of holes in a can and came inside (she may be getting old enough for a .22 and a little more action?); however, the 4 yr old grandson came in MUCH later with his Trophy Can. He took it around to each of the adults so we could all see the BIG holes he had put in the can...it may as well been his first trophy buck! He was sooo proud of himself and had a great time with his dad. Needless to say it was extremely hard for me to stay in the house while all this was going on (was spying out the window occasionally) but my son has been taught well and is a wonderful teacher.

Hmmm....it may soon be time for a "girls day" at the range with our old single shot .22 rifle. Now to find somewhere in the Austin area that will let us use water bottles as targets.....

Sounds like you have two more future sheepdogs on your hands. Congratulations. My son is 56 and carries, and my grandson is 27 and carries, and I'm proud of both of them also. I don't ever say much, but I enjoy reading all your posts.

    Excellent........more legacies!!!

I told it a guy at the range over the weekend that it was cool he had brought his kids (well mannered and had great safety habits) and especially his daughter.........she had a big smile.

I just LUV seeing children who know how to safely handle and respect firearms.
