Icon14 AZ will arrest Obama Agents

This is what I'm talking about folks. We can beat the D.C. elite. All we have to do is stay involved, tuned in, and support pro-2A candidates at the local, county, and state levels every chance we get.

It's a battle, sure, but if we dig in and fight every step of the way, we will win because simply put, there's more of us than there are of them.

Arizona Senate Panel Passes Bill Barring Enforcement Of Federal Gun Measures

    January 31, 2013 11:01 AM

"The bill co-sponsored by state Sen. Don Shooter, four other senators and several members of the House of Representatives would bar enforcement of new federal laws affecting semi-automatic firearms or high-capacity magazines. It also makes any federal official trying to enforce such laws guilty of a felony.

An Arizona Senate committee passed the bill Wednesday."

You're right. Local (especially the county sheriff), county and state is vitally important. As you say, there are more of us.............and they know it.

Thanks Jim! The local law enforcement agencies in the panhandle of Florida would never turn their firearms against lawfull gun owners and Gov Scott will back us on not allowing 0bamacrats from "coming into town".

    Good news if real.

Jim, the headline says it passed the Panel, was a Senate bill, but some House guys voted for it too.

In Arizona, is a "Panel" a place where general agreement on a bill is hashed out?

Good news that both houses support the idea, but that's a long way from being a bill fully voted on and then law. Sadly, I'd have to question the constitutionality..... that Federal law over State law thing was pretty much settled a couple of centurys ago.

But... don't get me going on that, I'm a huge state's rights guy, and your state is moving in the right direction. Thanks for the links.

Yes, the bill has support in both the state senate and house. Passing the senate panel was the first legal hurdle it had to clear. The panel must pass the bill before it can move on to the full senate. Then the house, then the governor's desk.

True, it's a long, legal road ahead but every journey must begin with the first step. We may lose, but that's okay. Not fighting back, rolling over and giving up, is worse than losing.

Look at how many states have MUST ISSUE ccw laws now as opposed to just twenty years ago. That was a long road with every step hardfought, but we won and are continuing to win.

Most of all it sends a clear message that We Will Fight Back. Bullies are cowards who prefer soft prey and want no part of a knockdown, drag out fight.

We have to STOP being intimidated by what the D.C. elite politicians decide is "the law". Federal Law ONLY supersedes State Law when it comes to SPECIFIC powers granted to the federal government in the Constitution.

While it's true the federal government has been constantly overstepping the boundaries of it's power granted by the constitution for decades, it's never too late to say ENOUGH and start fighting back. If we don't fight back the feds will just continue to overstep their constitutional boundaries.
