I got to meet ASD member Gator today and have a little fun. Great guy, I saw him as humble and down to earth. He shot my G42 .380 and I shot his SIG P238 .380. I love the size of the SIG. Of course we both brought other "toys" like M4's and other handguns. Today I focused on a couple of my .45's, the Para-Ord Warthog and G21. I haven't shot the Warthog in a long time. I forgot how freaking accurate it is with a 3" barrel. I'm in love all over again!

I only brought 100 rounds for the .45's and wished I had more. That amount goes VERY fast!

    I had a blast, literally!

I'd love to do it again, maybe next time we can plan in advance and I can better prepare with ammo. Gator, if you interested let me know!

    Icon14 G 42 practice

I enjoyed meeting UGA this morning. Very nice and graciously let me try his G 42. When work allows me, I will certainly get together again. Next, more toys and ammo. I really liked the balance and near nonexistent recoil on the Glock. Thank you for the trial once again. My Sig will belong to my wife as soon as I get my G 42. I look forward to another morning of brass hitting the floor and the smell of spent powder.
