But UGA, for "home defense" you absolutely, positively cannot beat that 12 gauge shotgun! I know it doesn't fall into the rifle category as you mentioned above, but there is some serious comfort there knowing that the amount of firepower available with that 12 gauge in 00 buck is devastating to any bad guys wanting to do harm to me or mine or to my property or fur babies.
