In fact, there are bunches for cool articles and gun reviews in the articles section nearly ready to be applied to a book ...members who have articles might want to look them over and make changes as desired to the original articles ..most seem book ready to me.

    Hi guys and gals,

I lurk from time to time without writing, but I thought I'd jump in here with subject for a chapter near the front.

What type and caliber of firearm suggestions for the first time buyer.

Like many of us that take a few minutes to stop by our favorite gun shops to smell gun oil and leather, I drifted into my favorite the other day. (Uh oh, Rosemary is going to get me. A sentence longer than 25 words is a no-no)

As always, I ask how business is: Jumping they say, and a very large percentage were first time buyers. I know this shop. They are (sometimes) over staffed, but there is always enough very knowledgeable sales staff. BUT.....if someone advises they are a first time gun buyer, the show stops. The owner personally handles each and every one of these situations. That's how important Mike feels the whole buying experience is.

Everybody reading this knows the drill, Big or little, pistol or revolver, what will the tool be used for...etc.

But my point is .... there are waves of first time buyers wandering around the 'net looking for help in deciding these things, so I might recommend the subject have a prominant place early.

Gotta' run. Good seeing you guys.

Excellent Rossi, and so good to hear from you again! You have been missed.

Our ASD book has taken a bit of a back burner for these last several months , seems life has gotten very complicated and work sure hasn't helped. Will try to refocus again; however, truthfully that will not happen until possibly October. Members, PLEASE continue to write and submit topics of interest! The book is still alive!!

    Thanks.
