    Both points well taken.

But..... if you are a COF (Certified Old Fart) neither plastic or steel seems to compare with with a "thumb click down, and a trigger pull". You know, efficiency of motion for results and all that.

That's one of the things I like about my Hi Point. If I run out of ammo before I stop the threat, I can beat them to death with the gun. It weighs just a little less than an M1 Abrams.

I was watching some show on TV several months ago. I thing it is called "the Deadliest Warrior". They test weapons on a ballistic gelatin manikin compleat with internal organs, blood and bones. Quite gruesome. It also has electronics that sense impact.

They had a guy hit the manikin on top of the head with the barrel of a single action colt .45. The damage was incredible. The doctor on the show said the result would be instant death.

    Hi Point--a dual purpose weapon........

The Deadliest Warrior sounds interesting, makes me wish we had cable/satellite. I did pick up Sons of Guns through Netflix--very interesting!
