Powder "brand" for loads

What is the powder that you think is the best for loads in .380, .38, 9MM, .357, .40, and .45.

I load .38, 9MM, .40, and .45 and use Bullseye for every load. I research 4 different loading books to determine the right (best) bullet then go from there. This approach allows me to only research bullets and not both bullets AND powder. Bullseye is a very fast burning powder.

Let us hear your comments on bullets and powder.

I have been using Bullseye for a long time in 45 loads, also have tried and found a great training load using Win 231. Bullseye is great, fast, consistent, but DIRTY!
A friend that reloads a lot more than I do turned me on to Ramshot powders and I have found it meters excellent, all of the powders are spherical so they are very consistent through the powder drop and it burns much much cleaner.
Once I burn through all the other powders that I have (pun intended), will most likely be using Ramshot from here on out. I also find a bullet I like for whatever purpose I am after and then vary my powder amount to matchfor the load I want. Being gone so much lately and now unemployed has put a serious crimp in my reloading lately, presses are sitting under cover and lonely.

I know bullseye is dirty, but it is a consistent burning powder...and you are correct, it is DIRTY. I am going to look up ramshot and see if it is mentioned in my load books.

I have looked in the Lee, Hornady, Lyman, and Speer books and none of them mention ramshot. Can you point me in a direction to get load data for ramshot?

Yup, Ramshot.com. complete online load data for just about any cartridge, bullet type, rifle or pistol. Just print them out. You will find the best selection of Ramshot powders at PowderValley.com, but I am finding that Sportsman's Warehouse has been carrying the entire line lately. I use Zip for pistol loads and Tac for AR loads, Hunter for bigger calibre rifles.
Ramshot has only been around for last few years to my knowledge, they are a fairly new powder manufacturer. They are not listed in any of my manuals either. If my friend hadn't mentioned them, I wouldn't know about them either.

45ACP - Clay's (used to use Bullseye...liked it a lot, still do...but my sensei turned me onto Clay's and haven't turned back since...still have 4 containers of Bullseye sitting there)
